At ElixAds, we aim to build a profitable ecosystem for both publishers and advertisers. To maintain this balance, we continuously monitor Traffic Quality (TQ) across all ad zones. If your traffic source or specific website ID has been blocked, it is usually because your traffic quality score fell below our mandatory 75% threshold.
Here is exactly how traffic quality works, why scores drop, and how you can restore your access.
What is Traffic Quality (TQ)?
Traffic Quality measures the percentage of real, human engagement your source delivers. Our system calculates it using a strict formula:

If your score is 75%, it means 25% of the clicks coming from your source were flagged as automated, non-human, or invalid.
Why Good Publishers Get Low Scores
Many publishers send invalid traffic without realizing it. If you push traffic from social platforms, adult profiles, or link shorteners, your score usually drops due to three main factors:
- Automated Scrapers and Bots: Social platforms are filled with automated bots that index links, scrape content, or simulate fake engagement.
- Hidden/Background Refreshes: Scripts that open pages in hidden tabs or automatically refresh the ad zone trigger immediate bot alerts.
- Data Center IPs: If your users are browsing via cheap VPNs or corporate data centers rather than residential internet providers, our system automatically filters them out.
